The wide ribbed cuff actually stays put all day without leaving a red mark on my calf, which is rare for mid-calf socks. The plum color has a nice depth to it and the knit feels fine but sturdy after several washes.

These mid-calf socks live up to the “finesse et robustesse” promise — the knit feels delicate against the skin but shows no signs of wear after several washes. The deep prune color is richer in person, too.

The ribbed cuff sits wide enough that nothing digs into my calf by the end of the day, which is why I've already ordered a second pair. The yarn feels thin but sturdy, and they've held their shape through several washes.
