I've washed these a handful of times now and the Scottish yarn still feels just as soft, no pilling at all. The ribbed knit keeps them up without squeezing my calf, which is rare for thin socks.

Wore these through a full day of walking and my feet never felt sweaty or bunched up. The reinforced heels and toes are holding up well after several washes, no thinning yet. The ribbed knit gives just enough stretch without sliding down.

These are noticeably softer than the cotton socks I usually buy, and the reinforced heels have held up well after a couple months of washing. The ribbed knit stays up without being tight around the ankle.
